love story project

I am a freelance writer, advice columnist, and a life and career expert most popularly known as "Advice Sister Alison" of The Advice Sisters. I'm working on a collection of "love" stories. They will be about best friends, lovers, and beloved pets.

I am beginning this project as a tribute to my twin sister Jessica (aka' Advice Sister Jessica) who was also my co-author and business partner. She died suddenly two years ago. Without the love of the special people (and pets) around me, I might not be able to sit here and ask for your participation, now.

To get this project off the ground I need stories, hundreds of stories -- from real men and women who can spare a few minutes to be "interviewed" by email and respond to a few, simple questions about how they met and connected with their best friend, a special love, a pet -- or all three.

I'm not being compensated, so what's in it for you? Perhaps just the opportunity to do something easy and positive, in our sometimes less-than-positive world. Also, sharing your "love story" with others is a tribute to that very special person (or pet). When you do something positive it leads back to you--and you never know what good things will happen or where they will lead.

An estimated 500 stories are need for this project or it will never get I'll send you the question and you answer them -- it's that simple.

I'd also appreciate it if you would forward this to everyone who might find the idea worthy and compelling and who might wish to participate. Thanks also for not spamming or flaming me *sorry I have to add this last part but I found out the hard way that this is sometimes part of being online.
