Can anyone else verify this as a common skill of your average 'yakker and-or a common trait of the average 'yak?

I also described myself as a noob. I know enough not to blame my equipment, though.

Which is all very much besides the point of why a police boat is speeding up the shoreline in the dark when the rest of the river is perfectly empty.

I threw away the packaging, but they look like these "candlelight" affairs, something like this:

I'm all for doing my part -- the point is, the cops were in the wrong lane.

I haven't been able to locate any lights more powerful than those I call little candlelights.

Which again makes me wonder: how come they couldn't see me with their giant halogen lamps?? If you drive down the wrong side of the road in the dark and hit a bicyclist, is it the bicyclist's fault even if his little pen-light is a pin-point?

Since you're so full of advice, why not give this yourself?

Not that the issue has ever been their speed -- I was, and still am, asking if they're on the proverbial wrong side of the road if the charge up the coastline in the dark.

How the hell do you do a PATROL anyway by racing by???
