Mission Accomplished! Bush Declares Evacuation Victory 1242
On Sat, 10 Sep 2005 21:53:08 GMT, Grumpy AuContraire Hardly... The ones with the means headed out of town, and not all of them did. Not...

I believe the old R-4 reserve was TSO'ed at 280-298 Lbs or something like that....Used to be a big kid at Waller that jumped one as a main---I'd say your biggest breaking bones hazzard will be learning at that weight..After you get your flare down weight becomes irrevalent on landing---another factor is temp and canopy perosity....The old man-o-wars I used in FJC were fairly worn and come down fast for their size. My personal favorite was the Falcon 268 which put me at one to one...Which was fine for Fall, Winter and Spring but come July and August & no ground wind days? FOR poo...put a split slider on and that solved that problem...Split sliders give you roughly 25 percent more lift cuz the lines spread out and flatten the canopy a bit---See a Master rigger and JMI in your country...they should be able to tell you if its do able for you kid. We cain't say without eyeballing and weighing you Because most people tend to over estimate the shape their in - while either outright lieing or under estimating true weight. This is not the place to ask, these people o wreck mostly have 5 jump wonder minds besides living in la la land and will get you hurt go to a DZ and check with the professionals. Adieu
