produced In Biblical terminology, 6 is man's number. It represents imperfection, whereas 7 is God's number and represents perfection. 666 was like saying, this person is the ultimate in imperfection or evil, and when used in code, it translated as Nero, and of course Babylon in Revelation was Rome. However, many theologians believe that Revelation is like Genesis - it is an icon - a symbol pointing to a reality greater than itself. The ultimate prophecy of revelation, is that there will never be a one world Government, and that every Superpower in time, will become corrupt like Rome, and fall from within, because it is made up of men (the number 6) who are imperfect, and when such a Superpower arises, its imperfection multiplies (with many men) hence another interpretation of 666. Anyone who is not for Christ, not a Christian, is hence an anti-Christ, and some are no less evil than 6, but others arise hungry with power, such as Napoleon or Hitler, or even Past Popes who were corrupt, and the evil that supports them and gives them aid and comfort multiplies their evil, to 666. Probably the best example we have had of this after WWII was Communism, and we saw it with Chinese in 1989, and with Saddam before he was overthrown, and we are seeing it very prevalent in Iran right now. The danger is, that although Democracy is on the rise, any of them could fall into a 666 Superpower, and that is the Danger both to Russia, and to ourselves. I would say that since you have many Jewish writers, producers, directors in Hollywood, they would have understood the imperfection of the number 6, and used it instead of 7, less they be blasphemous. Even the most liberal non-orthodox Jew can't escape the influence of his-her culture in which they were raised. The Watchman --------------- Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, You will surely die, and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling-block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself. - Ezekiel 3:17-21 ---------------
