I'm not sure who Freedom Fighter is and what the animosity is about, but this is legitimate and the show is real and not a scam. The Emergency Coalition Organization (ECO) to Save Washington Square Park has been actively lobbying to stop the renovation and the removal of the central meeting and performing space. They recently filed a lawsuit which may be the last line of defense against the closing of the park after the Art Commission meeting on August 3.
