I am far far from the opoint of making it something I worry about BUT there are examples of when being a white male does allow persecution. White males are thought to never need protection for their race or gender. However, there are situations where he becomes the "last (white) man standing" when everyone else runs and hides behind their respective faction's representatives from the ACLU and like-minded organizations. Now this should be easy to understand that if you are a member of the sole group that is not given a "leg up" than that becomes a de-facto handicap. I think it will get worse before it gets better. The reason I beleive this is that organizations rarely disband when they outgrow their usefullness. I hope we are getting near to the times when the NAACP has no further need to exist. Does anyone suppose that when that point comes that they will simply start turning away their income sources and just disband? I don't think so. They wil just keep pushing ahead taking care of their consbreastuents. Sadly, there will be a time when white males will need an advocacy group. Maybe for some that time has already arrived. I say as long as those involved are keeping with the spirit of moving towards equality for all (which is what all of those damned advocacy groups should have adopted for their charters in the first place) then all of us should support their efforts just as you would for every other human (excluding white males, which is precisely the point of this).
