Feedback and More Help Wanted!

We're very grateful for their contributions, and we could use more help. If you are interested in doing more -- like covering one particular publication or website and sending us the best of their news -- we'd love to hear from you. We'd like to have more volunteers who can conscientiously and consistently contribute -- this requires awareness of what's already being distributed by NY Transfer, dedication and a willingness to invest time and energy daily. Good news judgment, editing skills and sensitivity to propaganda and psychological warfare is a plus.

News should be submitted in text-only format. Ascii text (without HTML attached) is ideal because it requires less reformatting and processing. We would also like to publish more original editorials and analysis. Send your material to nyt at blythe.org

NY Transfer reaches literally millions of readers every day via the internet. We'd like to have more feedback on our news, and welcome your comments to nyt at blythe.org We'd also like to know where you read our news (our NYTr list, another mailing list, a Usenet newsgroup, etc.) and whether you'd like to see more -- or less -- on certain topics or regions, or news from particular sources.

NY Transfer's 20th Anniversary:

NY Transfer has been a non-commercial. free, information and online news-training resource for 20 years. Since 1985 -- long before most people knew what the Internet was -- we have trained hundreds of individuals, community and non-profit organizations and activist groups in the skills necessary to disseminate news on the internet. It costs a lot of money to keep our operation running securely and without censorship, and it's becoming more expensive every year. We would be extremely grateful for more financial support.
