Deuteros That's interesting. You claim to have more economic freedom and then back it up with issues that have nothing to do with economic freedom. There are limits to freedom of speech in the US, and reasonable people will agree that there should be limits when one persons words or actions are detrimental to any person or group and affect their rights. Freedom of the press and freedom of speech often run into the stumbling blocks of slander and liable. It's true that it is difficult to use a gun for self defence in Canada, but it doesn't take much effort to show how much safer it is for all us to not have to use a gun for self defence. Whether you look at raw numbers or homicide rates, the chances of anyone dying from gunshot are much smaller in Canada. True, there are concerns about wait times for some medical procedures, but cost per capita in Canada are much cheaper in than in the US. Yet, it is accessible to all. You may be able to get a MRI faster in the US, but that would depend on whether or not you can afford it. Oddly, life expectancy is greater here. Go figure,
