She wrote that Mr. Clarke and his team "suggested several ideas, some of which had been around since 1998 but had not been adopted." In this dumbbutt's mind, "ideas" are the same as "plans". And the whole Clarke "memo": The longer document was breastled "Strategy for Eliminating the Threat From the Jihadist Networks of al Qida: Status and Prospects." It included a detailed description of the network, saying it was "well financed, has trained tens of thousands of jihadists, and has a cell structure in over 40 nations. It also is actively seeking to develop and acquire weapons of mbutt destruction." And more on Clarke: Clarke buttured the reporters that the Bush administration had paid close attention to anbreasterrorism efforts during the eight months leading up to 9-11. He basically told them: * There was no detailed anbreasterrorism plan that the Clinton administration furnished to their successors.
