Oh really? Just what history and-or reality are you speaking of?

Oh really? Let's see; what do you make of Bush going, and staying on the longest vacation in American Presidential history, prior to 9-11? What do you make of the fact that for a short period of a few months the north east was left without air coverage by chase planes? Do you remember that Bush attended the G-8 summit in Italy in July? Do you recall that the CIA warned Italy that they expected persons to attack the meeting by use of hijacked commercial airliners which they would attempt to crash into the buildings?

Do you recall the outcry raised when the Italian Prime Minister placed anti aircraft missiles on the rooftops of buildings downtown and around the meeting site? Do you really believe that neither Bush nor Condoleeza Rice, nor George Tenet knew of these things? If not, then how could Bush, only one month later, recieve a PDB on Aug., 6th, that warned him of the exact same thing happening in America some time soon?

What explaination, now clears up why Bush did not ask for any buttessment of our air preparedness status? You know, Italy took our CIA's warnings seriously and did something about it. Why did our own President ignore the same warning and do absolutly nothing?

That'll do for starters, let's just see how attentive to history and reality you are!
