If only that was the worst of it Slim... Heard on 1010wins today the U.S. (Bush Adm.) "bragging???", they had shot a person leader with a guided UAV. Problem is they claim to have shot him over the Pakistani border. As if Pakistan doesn't alread have enough trouble with it's own people. Now Bush is again disrespecting borders. Remember Pakistan had to choose between chasing Bin Laden and civil stability, because of the growth of discontent among Islamics in general, because of BushCo's failure to keep his warfare separate from christian religious idealism. That's going to be very hard to over come, once he got that going, it's probably the worst thing he could have allowed to happen. It's also what is adding to the growing discontent that's making it ever more dangerous for our troops. He keeps fanning the flames from his safe perch in Washington, while the troops have to "cash" the "wolf tickets" he keeps needlessly selling. Well, the people in Uzbekistan have freed 2000 prisoners, less than 300 of them were persons. So, what were these other people doing in jail in such great numbers? I don't know, I can only hope that they were there for some real civil crimes charged, as opposed to being there merely to be interigated in the war on terrorism at some foreign powers request etc. In any event the police, in their effort to restore order, have shot and end 200 (maybe more) of their citizens. They're holding dissolution planting sign-up-pledge meetings somewhere in the middle east and it was reported to be a rather well attended event. All of which doesn't bode well for the stability of the region or the prospects of Bush creating any real democracies anywhere, anytime soon. This guy is, in my estimation, a madman! Because he's constantly working against himself! He takes exactly the wrong action needed to even approach the results he claims to be seeking. And he doesn't negotiate, confer, persuade, debate or even plan with anyone but his own "Crew", the best minds of which have clearly left! I don't know if "we the people" are ever going to come together and reign this fraud in. But I do know that the damage he's done is going to take a very long time, lots of money and great effort to repair. If it isn't done, we can expect to go spinning off into deep chaos. Oh well.
