Yeah, courts never get anything wrong... Lets see, as my S-O worked as a case manager for the US Federal Court Of Appeals, I dare say that I've heard a few tales on *that* subject... See " convention ". It doesn't say in any marriage contract that the parties aren't supposed to beat each other up, or their kids. Fools who demand that all basic facts be " written down " only display their own ignorance of those basic facts. As voters in 11 out of 11 states agreed... With my view, and NOT yours... No proof offered ? Claim fails. The basic fact of this is, that what society decides to promote is a matter that IS decided by that society, and that the majority in any society will, sooner or later, decide exactly that. Actually, it does mean exactly that, among other things. It also says that it is the *majority* that decides what a right IS. And, what a social insbreastution such as marriage has as entry qualifications. a non democratic place to get their " rights " from, they truely show their utter contempt for democracy and the values of the majority. Tyranny of the minority is no less repugnant that a tyranny of the majority. But, its NOT the majority thats demaning special priviliges for... ANYONE. Its your minority that is demanding *that*. IOW, INequality. Andre -- " I'm a man... But, I can change... If I have to... I guess. " The Man Prayer, Red Green.
