My point was that his chosen religious beliefs and behaviours can not be thrust onto Canadian citizens by being enshrined in the law of the land without violating the S2a rights of Canadians. I am dragging them in because he is attempting to have his religious dogma become the basis of the CIVIL laws of the land. Not at all. Marriage is offered to consenting, non-related adult couples of the opposite love; thus consenting adult, non-related couples of the same love are discriminated against on the basis of the love of the partners. Lady justice is required to lift her blindfold and peer into the crotches of the applicants for a marriage license in the backwards provinces to determine if they have the "correct" genitals.
