David Cole ROFL, that's very funny. :) But you know, pooty animal husbandry practises have cost meat farmers and places like KFC a lot of my money over the years. It's just been the ick factor about chopped-off beaks and sitting in their own poo and never seeing the sun that's often stopped me from buying a big bucket of delicious KFC. But even funnier, one night I was at Hy's (pricey Calgary steakhouse) and the pretentious waiter there was making our caesar salad at the table. We ended up talking about how it really is worth it to pay the extra to eat really good food every once in a while, when he said, "Oh yeah, definitely when compared to a place like KFC. Do you know what they do to those chickens? And their kitchens are so filthy, all covered in grease everywhere?" And then we nodded at the waiter, as he kept on and on his judgemental rant about KFC, and how awful and gross they are, and how stupid people are to eat there. The whole time, I was mentally ticking off a dollar at a time from the tip we would have given him, as we'd just had a whole 10 piece bucket of KFC for lunch. Okay, that's my only bourgeois story, promise. K
