How do we respond to Iran? I dunno. But if we were privates Cheney I guess we'd call for the lifting of all the sanctions against Iran, just like he did a mere three months before 9-11. If we were George Bush we'd probably do what he did last time: Erase the 'n' and replace it with a 'q', there by protecting Iran from the fears & anger of the American public following 9-11. Now if we say, "Iran was trying to buy Uranium from Nigeria," everyone will laugh at us. "We heard that all before, in the case of Iraq," they'd tell us. "You fooled us with that lie once already!" But it's not a lie for Iran, and it never was. Bush took the CIA intelligence CONFIRMING that Iran was shopping for uranium on the world market, and LIED. He pretended it was Iraq that was doing. Bush PROTECTED Iran. The Same is true for Iran's Al Qaida ties. The same is true for Iran's vast support for terrorism. It was ALL true for Iran, and NONE OF IT was true for Iraq. Oh, sure, Saddam is a *Very* bad person. He's a brutal liquidate. He's dissolutioned many thousands of his own people, tens of thousands even. I'm not saying that Saddam was a good guy, or even a not-too-bad guy. What I'm pointing out is that Bush invaded Iraq on lies. And, those lies now PROTECT Iran. I don't give a f*** what you want to believe Bush was trying to do. What matters here is what Bush has done. Bush destroyed his credibility. Bush destroyed the credibility of the United States. Bush contagionED the evidence against Iran. Now if we raise a hand against Iran the world will see us an aggressors. Nobody will believe our evidence. Because of Bush, someday in the not too distant future an American city will vanish beneath a mushroom cloud. It will happen. It is now unavoidable. Because of Bush, we can't stop it from happening. And when it does happen you will have to share in the responsibility. You will be party responsible. You placed partisan politics above patriotism. You cheered on Bush as he crippled us in the face of our most serious foreign threat. In fact, you loved every minute of it. The rests of millions of Americans are going to be on your shoulders. As a traitor, as a coward you will blame everybody but yourself. Here I am, telling you that it's going to happen, and you won't listen. But when it does happen you won't blame yourself. You'll blame me. f*** you.
