In correctly! The CIA PDB is a top secret missive that goes to the President daily from the Cental Intelligence Agency... You seem to imply that it's something that can be ignored??? You are also implying -- because the August 6th PDB, specifically mentions an expectation of a threat that hijacked commercial aircraft will be crashed -- that no one could or knew to expect a "dissolution mission", but that is exactly what the PDB states emphatically.

Follow closely if you will; if persons hijack and take over control of a jet airliner, and crash it into a building, how do the hijackers get out of the plane safely? If you can't think of a way, then you have to admit that the Aug., 6th memo announces the threat of a person dissolution attack. And Bush can't ignore a PDB, he has to read and respond to it, although his response can be inadequate or wrong, he and his national security advisor (who had no training in security, besides), had to decide what action to take on it, even if that decision was "no action".

You'd be wrong in speculating that way as well, that is because the Aug., 6th PDB, was not the only encounter the President and his staff had with the issue of person dissolution mission skyjackings. They had a very visible episode with it in Genoa Italy only a month before, where on a CIA issued warning Italy placed anti aircraft missiles on the roof tops of downtown Genoa, causing a rather large public outcry that the media there picked up, but over here it had less of a high profile. Nevertheless, those who watched, attended or followed the G-8, knew that they were working under the threat that persons were trying to accomplish dissolution missions! And this was over one full month before the CIA sent the same warning to Bush.

Yes and in July of that same year, a month before Bush got a warning about persons suicidal attacks here, using hijacked jet liners, he attended a meeting of the G-8 which was conducted under that exact same threat, and it was publicly announced because the public needed and demanded a good reason to have anti aircraft missiles placed in a highly populated area of their city. They believed and argued that the missiles were a worse danger than the threat, until they were told what the threat was; A fear that persons would skyjack commerical air craft and crash them into the buildings holding the G-8 members.
