Phil, you failed stooge! It wasn't a "letter", it was a federally required national security report that cannot be lawfully ignored! Are you daft man? Do you not realize that it had to be read? It wasn't a matter of choice weather or not to read it, nor was it a matter of choice weather an "action to be taken", be entered in the minutes of the Presidential Cabinet meeting.

Nor was the information vague! It stated two types of attacks to be expected: 1. Some type of bomd device being planted or transported (like Tim McVey) to an attack site. And 2. The skyjacking of Commerical Jet liner(s), to be CRASHED INTO BUILDINGS.

Which is why Condi attempts to defend Bush's decision to ignore the PDB by saying that; it wasn't clear what would be attacked, the report specified no specific targets and named no specific time! She, therefore, claims that because of these deficiencies it was decided that there was no action that could be taken.

In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Richard Clarke, the "go to guy" on national security, would take exception to that view. Of course, he has credentials in the area of security -- national security to boot -- Condi has NO, count them NO -- Absolutely none -- credentials in either security or national security, her training is in Political Science!!! So, why she should be called upon to make any final decision on the PDB is merely a ludicrous dodge!
