2002 Election REPUBLICAN DIRTY TRICKS plantSHELL
On Thu, 20 Jul 2006 07:02:41 GMT, Craig Chilton -- Help to Make the USA Bigotry-FREE! (ABORT A LIBERAL) (liberal BULL poo removed as a public...

Thanks, Greg. Your recommendations are always welcome.

I think I mentioned that we're also up all night, but that's when we write, so we're usually totally homebound and taking calls from our editors overseas. It so happens that we're just three blocks from the Pakistan Tea House, so that's been our quick meal savior for years.

However, when we're hungry and we CAN venture out, it's usually up to 32nd street, to Kang Suh. As far as Korean bbq goes, Kam Gung San across the street on the north side is generally better. But what keeps us coming back to Kang Suh, especially "after hours" is simple:

It's a bit cheaper than Kam Gung San (sp?)

They still burn wood (KGS uses gas)

The characters! Kang Suh simply attracts a more "colorful" clientele after hours. This includes whole families with little children, just off the plane (odd to see at 4 am), older Korean ladies with their pretty young male escorts (if only we could speak Korean - we're still trying to figure out the inside story there), and buttorted other night-crawlers among whom we feel totally at ease.
