Deuteros Just adopting the CAPITALIST spirit, is all. If you believe in democracy, you necessarily believe in unions. Unions serve as a check and balance against the otherwise absolute power of management. And we all know what happens when given absolute power...it's just human nature; any one of us will succumb to corruption, etc. Look at Norway and the Scandanavian countries. Healthy people, healthy economies, socialist all the way, no problems like what we've got. That's heart AND brains for you. Forward-thinking, compbuttionate but not muddle-headed. There isn't this "me, me, me -- now, now, now!" crap we have here in the States. It's ironic that China's gonna f*** this country over -- and all by playing with the same "me-me-me-now-now-now" rules...never compete with the Devil. But all this trying to turn back the clock is just that -- in the name of the mythical "free market" people want to undo the social progress of a century of blood, sweat, and tears just so that we can wind up a Third World poohouse like...China?
