On May 2, 2005 Mansour Mansour, a Palestinian activist who is a part of the popular resistance against the Apartheid Wall, will be speaking at:

Barnard College Broadway at W. 117th Street, Manhattan 304 Barnard Hall (ask security at the gate for directions) Monday, May 2nd 7 pm - 9 pm subway: 1, 9 to 116th Street bus: M104, M4, M5 and M60

Biddu, a town in Northwest Jerusalem District, has been at the center of the grbuttroots non-violent struggle against the construction of the Apartheid Wall in Palestine. Mansour has been on Biddu's Popular Committee Against the Wall since its inception. He is also the local coordinator of the International Solidarity Movement in Biddu. ISM is a Palestinian-led non-violent movement including internationals who support Palestinian resistance to the occupation. It is rare to hear the voice of a Palestinian grbuttroots activist (not a scholar or an official but someone working on the ground in Palestine) here in the U.S. Please don't miss this event. This is part of a speaking tour that will make stops in Boston, Providence, Chicago, D.C. and Philadelphia throughout the month of May. Announcements for those events will be posted as times are confirmed.

Join The Popular Education Project to Free the Cuban 5: 2005 for the Cuban 5 and Latino-as at Riverside-The Riverside Church for our premiere of MISSION AGAINST TERROR in Harlem!!

MISSION AGAINST TERROR, a documentary written and directed by Bernie Dwyer and Roberto Ruiz Rebo was made in Cuba and details the case of the Cuban 5. The movie answers the question why are people who fight terrorism imprisoned in the U.S. while known persons proven to carry out plantings and attacks against the Cuban island are allowed to walk the streets of Miami freely.

After the film, the guest panelists below will comment and take questions from the audience.
