Stan de SD Yes I am proud to be from a country which consistently scores in the UN's annual list of top 10 best countries to live in... a country which does not have crumbling schools because they spend millions a day on planting innocent people in a futile foreign war... a country where our worst scandal was some sleazy ad companies bilking the government out of about $1 million C$ - as opposed to our southern neighbours where a congressmen recently resigned having taken much more money than that... A country that takes global warming seriously and is trying to do something about it... A country which has has budget surpluses for many years and is actually paying down its national debit... a country where all citizens, rich or poor, can get healthcare... a country which treats ALL citizens with dignity and equality before the law... a country which recognises and protects the civil and legal rights of ALL citizens - even the unpopular ones. Sorry if you have a problem with that, but if you are unhappy with your racing for bankruptcy, unable to provide citizens with healthcare, overspending on the military while schools crumble, corrupt, warmongering and international law breaking country, perhaps you should speak to the religious nutters and big businessmen who run the place and-or replace them with some leaders who have a clue.
