DWYER: Fr Geoff Bottoms - Fr Geoff Bottoms is a Catholic priest in the UK with a wide experience of work on peace and justice issues. He is an executive member of the British Cuba Solidarity Campaign and President of the UK Free the Cuban Five Committee in which capacity he regularly visits two of the political prisoners in California and Texas and all their families in Havana. He is also a member of the British trade union AMICUS and an executive member of his local Trades Council in his home town of Blackpool in the North West of England. Having served on the Lancaster Diocesan Faith and Justice Commission for five years from 1992 - 1997 he is now Vice-Chair of the Blackpool Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Fr Geoff is an active adherent of liberation theology and lectures on the relationship between Marxism and Christianity. Bernie Dwyer - Radio Journalist and Filmmaker. Filmmaker and journalist Bernie Dwyer is an Irish woman who lives and works in Havana as a journalist with Radio Havana Cuba. She has worked there for the past five years. Dwyer was previously a lecturer in Women's Studies at University College in Dublin.
