I hold two engineering degrees and one computer-related job and I;ve been online since learning typing decades ago, OK, this "identiy forgery" on PUBLIC NEWSGROUPS will get ZERO reaction from my ISP. I've been their customer since 1993 i.e. 12+ years, pretty impressive. Idenbreasty "forgery" by changing one's name in Newsgroup client personalinfo field is equivalent to using nicknames on e.g. IRC chat, you waste your breath on utter bullpoo, OK, because WE ALL POST UNDER FAKE NICKNAMES, NO ONE WITH IQ ABOVE30 GOES ONLINE NAKED, you probably knew that - all our names are fake, I am not Mark and you're not Susan and if you're Susan in real life than you;re an idiot to use a real name like that Phil of the Bronx who still didnt change it. So go ahead, contact SBC-Yahoo-Prodigy which is my ISP (all 3 co's merged) and tell them this Mark Levitski "forged" my honest Susan Cohen name. Wait for reaction. What does carry a criminal penalty are such things as: Impersonating government officials email-phone-tampering with callerID, financials (creditreport, banking-creadit cards, utulities, driver's license, etc), complaining to somebody';s ISP because their customer is posting under supposedly your name is very amusing, I might like Susan Cohen nick also and nothing on your side can ever force me to give it up, the only reason I change nicknames is myself and not your demands, you can talk to the wall.
