Meaning precisely what it says - a different thread that had zero to do with the current "discussion".

Are you just playing dumb or are you really that dumb?

Uh huh - I thought so - both you and that bore share a lot in common.

Exactly what do you think was "invented"? The idea that right=wing loons want to take it out of context? That's not an "invention" but a to spin it (and I'm sorry to say that the likes of you have contributed to the problem, as evidenced by Spitzer's comment about "battle fatigue").

Out of the blue? In what *Different* place are you pretending your mind-numbingly boring exchange with "Tim...

No, you "raised Spitzer" to try to change the subject from an argument you were clearly losing. When I pointed out that lots of gays had signed up quite some years ago due to various social pressures, and with becoming a priest being an acceptable way out due to the celibacy rule, you tried to pretend it was merely due to a priest's status. *But*, you could not explain why the fraction of gay priests is so high since the desirability due to status would apply equally to straight and gay prospective priests. You had no answer, so you tried to change the topic.

Why don't you just grow up and cut your infantile insults. It was a *different thread* - some guys...

And BTW, Spitzer is a professor of psychiatry at Columbia University, not exactly a shabby insbreastution and not one were researchers show much of a tendency to put out studies with faulty methodologies. He apparently found that some people (a very small percentage) can change their loveual orientations. That's interesting, but it hardly implies that most can, nor does it imply that anyone should be encouraged to try.

FYI, he was quoted as saying, "Gay people, like anyone else, are enbreastled to full civil rights whether or not some can change their loveual orientation" in exactly how many papers in this field did you say you've published, and why do you think ill of someone who holds the view stated above?

I was talking about what he had discovered, and I didn't give any anecdotes (although I'm sure you'll try to weazel out by dragging some other thread into it to get out of your untennable position).

Now what are you babbling about?

Real intelligent comment there. :-)
