Homoloveuality Trumps Free Speech And Religion In Canada 229
maxo homoloveuality I wasn't trying to be a literalist, rather a realist looking at the issue from a historical perspective of how Jesus and the Jewish Society of his day would have viewed both homoloveuality...

maxo world - likely change to do not Oh,yeah, let's not look to history for truth or fact, instead, let us close our eyes to the reality, that the Counter Culture essentially set loose a bunch of pestilence in the form of 124 additional STDs upon a larger mbutt of the population!

--------------- 1CO 5:9 I have written you in my letter not to buttociate with loveually immoral people-- 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing you that you must not buttociate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is loveually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. ---------------

I have as close friends, former male homoloveuals, who are now Christian and either Single or Married. One of them in particular decided to share falling the very first time we had a men's Bible Study in Antioch, and he opened up how he had been out having anonymous love with men in the Video-love-Peep Shops all around Nashville, and how he had been raped at age 15 (and he was now in his early 30's at the time). Talk about being in a room with a lot of men with very uncomfortable looks on their faces; the entire ordeal could have ended badly, because I could tell by the look on every other man's face, they would have left right now, if it wouldn't have been offensive.

I then took the time to open up and share with Mr. "H" that when I decided, while in College, to help a girlfriend of mine, by studying how to minister to loveually abused children, that as a consequence of reading a lot of material, and having virtually no knowledge of intimate love beyond the basic biology lesson, I ended up with a problem with loveography, that I finally had to admit, and overcome. I explained to him that none of us were born perfect or without sin, and that honestly, had I been molested at age 15 by another man, I'd probably be having the same problems as Mr. "H" was having right now. The entire room of men cooled down, and a peace filled the room, and as I was talking to Mr. "H" and he understood that I comprehended his pain and guilt; he began to cry, and the night ended with all of us gathering around and praying for him as though he were one of our very own flesh and blood brothers, and a healing process began for him. Now that's not to mean life was easy, and there was one time he made a phone call leaving a message for a bunch of us that he was "giving up" and couldn't take it any more, and that he was leaving our fellowship. Instead of running away, over half our Home Bible Study group of about a dozen, went over to see him, and talked, and reasoned with him. He got support from a former alcoholic, and another former alcoholic who also had a former loveual addiction with women. They helped explained how they avoided turning back to bad habits, and we remained his support group. Mr. "H" has since moved back to California, met a young lady nurse out there, and is happily married.

Mr. "H" and I both shared a love of Broadway and the theatre. I don't live by stereo types, and I tire when both straight and homoloveual men try to put labels on all men, and they both get carried away. You look at Jacob in the OT. He was a Mama's boy, he liked working in the garden, and around the tents, he was fair skinned, not hairy, a man's man like Esau, and not as athletic since he wasn't the hunter. Now was Jacob gay? By no means, he no only married two wives to get the one he loved, but they each gave him one of their concubines, and he had 12 sons (hence the 12 tribes of Israel as he was later renamed by God), and a daughter that the Bible mentions.

Here's an example of why the Russians had to establish the Pale Of Russia to protect themselves from the jew. Unfortunately, the naive Americans allowed these...

Since I was a Religion Major in College, and was in the Drama Club, one fall while going on a Fall Retreat with the School with about 100 other people, I got involved in a game of softball, and all the Intramural and Baseball guys lined up on one team with some women, and that left One Baseball Player on our team, another very small frame and small stature fellow religion major, and myself to play with a bunch of women on the other Softball team. The teams appeared to be severely mismatched. After the other religion major got up to bat, and put his softball in mid field where it was caught out, I was up to bat next. Everyone scooted up to where the last guy hit the softball. Then I put the softball out where the Sports Jocks on the other team had been hitting it, and got my first triple with an RBI. The innings followed, and again I came up to bat, so the boys on the other team got out into the outfield where the big guys had been hitting the ball, and this time I put the ball even further, and had a 2nd triple with an RBI. After that, before the last inning, I was in Centerfield, without a glove since we didn't have enough, and their biggest guy hit the ball but it was a high pop-fly, and I caught it with my bare hands and he was the 3rd out. The last inning and the 3rd and final time I got up to bat, I hit the softball, but I too hit a pop-fly straight up into center field, but a young woman with a glove dropped it, and I made it to second, then one of the baseball guys overthrew the softball to third base committing an error, and I made it to third, with my 3 RBI, and the winning RBI, since we defeated the other team by one run.

After the game one of the guys on the opposing team asked me where I pulled that second hit, triple, and RBI from, and I explained, "I've been splitting wood for the family stove since I was 12. A softballs nothing compared to wood splitting." Then he jeeringly said to me, "You Hick!"

Labels don't work with me. I realize there are Homoloveual men out there who try to live as close to the heteroloveual family norm as possible in life, and don't engage in the always drunken at risk behavior. Some even have civil unions, and adopt children. I feel some sympathy for them, because they understand the importance of family, but can't bring themselves to commit to a wife to have children for them, and flesh and blood they can call their own. But then again, there are heteroloveual men who live with women, and can't bring themselves to give them children either or even commit to marriage. I see both as being stuck in a latent stage of adolescence, and they never learn to truly love. To truly love you have to focus on the needs of the other, and leave some of your own more bachelor ways behind you.

I have been on friendly terms with homoloveual men who haven't left that life, but if they take the time long enough to get to know me, they know I still don't approve of their choice in life. Doesn't mean I am hateful to them or try to hurt them, but if their conscience bothers them enough knowing my views, then usually we quit speaking altogether. In fact I once knew a man named Max, who was homoloveual and thought Jesus had homoloveual tendencies. Used to work with him now 11 years ago, when Lockheed-Martin still used to do Data Processing of Postal Images over on Polk Avenue. Although I listened to Max's comments at the time, we never had enough time to talk fully about our beliefs and views. Although I believe strongly in what I believe, I don't always feel the necessity to share it with someone in my personal life, until we have had more time to converse. The Lockheed Operation closed, and I went on to work for the next 5 years with the State of TN in Mainframe Operations. Never got to share with Max what I believe, but I believe in the power of prayer, and remember him in mine from time to time.

17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked man, `You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.

20 "Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself." -- Ezekiel 3:17-21
