Fled before his trial. In Idaho 1974: Arrested on suspicion of molesting two 13-year-old boys. Posted bail, then fled to Brazil. 1976: Extradited and convicted of the Idaho molestation charges, he was sentenced to eight years. Alaska drops its charges. 1978: Released on parole in March. In December, the Idaho Supreme Court overturned his conviction. 1979: Warrant issued after two 14-year-old boys said he molested them. Found a year later in Oregon. In the Bay Area 1981: Appeared in federal court in San Francisco to face charges that he lured a 16-year-old boy to become a prosbreastute. Charges dropped, so he could be tried in Idaho. Later convicted for lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor and sentenced to 25 years. 1987: Conviction overturned by appeals court. Retried in 1989. Set free in a plea deal. In Oregon 1993: Pleaded no contest to charges of sodomizing a 15-year-old boy. Sentenced to four years and one month. In San Jose May 22, 2005: Charged with molesting a 12-year-old boy. May 23: Considered a fugitive, he is arrested in Everett, Wash. Wednesday: Police announced that he allegedly molested a second boy under 14. Thursday: Investigators report finding notebooks filled with 36,000 names. Police believe Schwartzmiller may be the most active child molester in the country. *** Still the homos cry we have no child abusers among us.
