As was pointed out to you, there were 36,700 entries in his notebooks, with some kids repeated multiple times. A witness reported to the police that Schwartzmiller *claimed* to have done it that number of times, and the police figured that even if he was exaggerating, it is likely to be one of the worst cases in terms of the number of children abused that they've ever seen. Do you think the witness made it all up (in spite of the notebooks) when you can be jailed for making a false report to the police? The troll made up a misleading subject line and was dismissed in two sentences. Try again (and see above). I might add that your buttumptions really are wrong. You buttume, for instance, that we know how many children other molesters have abused. If one of these criminals is caught and enough witnesses come forward to put him away for a very long time, there is little reason to others who were abused to offer to testify - talking about it in court must surely be very hard on them, so I would buttume that many would not bother once his sentence is about as long as it is going to be. You probably see more people coming forward in the Catholic Church scandal due to the church's deep pockets, and the chance to get some sort of compensation for these crimes, but even that is probably not enough for some fraction (possibly a large fraction) to go through the trama of testifying in court.
