Grumpy AuContraire Thanks for the kind words, and I can agree with your comparison. In the last posting I read before I kill-filed him, a poster claimed that I HAD to agree that Kerry was not traitorous because he had proved it. He proved nothing of the sort, IMNSHO. Regardless of his words, I fully believe that Kerry gave aid and comfort to the enemy and that behavior is traitorous. He may not feel that way. That is is right. It is also my right to feel that Kerry was a traitor. Kerry and the Democrats were apparently surprised at the strong feelings of the Swift Boat Veterans. There is a bond that builds up between those who have served in dangerous conditions together. Kerry went against that bond when he accused his shipmates of serious war crimes, with no proof. They felt, rightly, that he betrayed them. I know many who served in that war and I would trust my life to them, something I would NOT do with Kerry. I still hear from some of those who were in my squadron during the Korean war, over fifty years later. One man, who was lost in 1951 while we were deployed to Japan, has a sister who is still trying to get all of the details of exactly what happened to him. I've tried to help in any way I could, but after fifty years, it is difficult. I just don't remember many of the details anymore.
