What animosity? The paddlers on these NGs seem to side with powercraft no matter what! The paddlers on these NGs were practically ALL -- UNIFORMLY -- on the side of the NYPD Harbor Patrol boat that capsized me, saying that it was my responsibility to have been visible, even though I had my light on and I was practically next to the shoreline. Ah, but, geez, wasn't it the responsibility of the paddlers to make themselves visible? That's what the paddler NG buttholes were telling me when a NYPD Harbor Patrol boat capsized me! See what I mean? I was saying just this much -- bicyclists seem a more "together" group than paddlers. While I'm not in the habit of holding up progress, I also don't appreciate motorists who think that they can't get where they're going fast enough to hit their f***ing brakes if they can't go around me, and honk away, insisting that I endanger myself by pulling over even more towards the curb so that they can have the road. I swear, it's incredible...motorists want you on the sidewalk, pedestrians want you on the road...glad the biking folks ain't a bunch of apologetic lemmings like these paddler NG jerks. I must say, I'm quite surprised. I've NEVER met a rude cyclist -- I've met "daredevil" types from the ghetto who just have that kind of "the world owes me a living" atbreastude, but never a cyclist who's rude and unjust...and I worked half a summer as an NYC bike messenger once, so I think I know! As a matter of fact, I've never heard of "bike rage" even though bicyclists wind up crashing into each other too, sometimes. If that were motorists, chances are that fists would have been thrown, if not shots fired. I was imitating the paddler NG jerks who were just so pro-powerboating! I should warn you...I've applied for a firearms license...ain't no butthole capsizing me with impunity next time!
