911 CONSPIRACY9-11 CONSPIRACY In 1998 the US government was advised that it would be necessary to replace Afghanistan's Taliban government before an essential pipeline could...
Broadway Blue To some people, everything bad that happens must be a conspiracy. Furthermore, these bad happenings are conspiracies perpetrated, of course, by those whom they dislike or disagree with philosophically. Ask what the cost-benefit analysis would be of planning and staging such a conspiracy. buttume for a sec that it was a conspiracy. They would need hundreds, if not thousands, of conspirators. If it were ever revealed, it would spell the end to neo-cons or, perhaps, Republicans in general (or Dems if you believe THEY were in on it). Repubs, as greedy, self-serving, and narcissistic as they may be, wouldn't be that stupid. If the White House can't even keep the lid on their international wire tapping program, how would they cover up something of the magnitude of 9-11-01? And to say there is a media-gov't connection is absurd. The White House finds much of mainstream media contemptable, because mainstream media critically examines the policies of this administration (as they rightly should). Is AT&T up to its tricks againAs you stated AT&T is famous for abuses on their long distance services, in fact it's the rule, rather than the exception. I'd cancel the service, send... Of course, I can hear the conspiracy theorists now: "Oh, don't be so naive!" Well, it is they who are naive. It is they who want a convenient explanation for world affairs, without looking into the nuances and complexities. It is they who scream "Conspiracy!" and play the blame game every time, with every thing. It is they who do a dis-service to those who work for real change. There are, and have been for decades, radicals who wish to do harm to American interests, regardless of what administration is in charge in the USA. Sometimes we need only remind ourselves of the facts; and only then do the conspiracy theories look as absurd as most of them are.
