Um... *sigh*.... it seems that none of the WTC Conspiracy Kooks have any idea HOW a tall building is deliberately demolished. When a building of any significant height is scheduled to be demolished, it takes weeks of planning and preparations. First of all, there are very few organizations that will tackle such a job, as it is difficult in the EXTREME to get a large building to collapse precisely into it's own footprint. And when I say precise, I mean; too make it fall essentially into one large pile with the biggest pieces of rubble mostly contained to the original ground area the building once occupied. The two WTC towers and WTC 7 did not fall this precisely. As they were falling, yes, indeed, it looked cursorily like they were collapsing in such a way, but when the wreckage hit the ground it spread out to surrounding areas, and onto other buidlings - hardly a demolition that was 'controlled' in the way that controlled demolitions are conducted.

In the weeks before a building can be demolished, the general area surrounding the site must be secured, so that damage to surrounding buildings is prevented. The building to be demolished needs to be investigated to ensure that the locations of load bearing columns are all known (and do not disagree with any blueprints on hand of the building), and exactly HOW the explosive charges need to be placed in order to get it to 'implode'. Then the building needs to be cleared of equipment, garbage, furniture, etc.

EVEN GIVEN that the above safety measures were abandoned (for the sake of creating carnage, I suppose), there are still several very important (and OBTRUSIVE and NOISY) things that need to be done in order to get the building to collapse. Crews of men need to go into the building and demolish as many non-load bearing walls as possible - on as many floors as possible. It makes for a cleaner break of each floor. Even though they may not be load bearing walls, they can still greatly hinder the ease and direction in which it is desired for the building to collapse. Then may come the job of weakening supporting columns with sledgehammers and steelcutters - both methods are NOISY and MESSY. When all that is done, the blasting crew now has the job of loading the supporting columns with the explosive charges. That may involve drilling holes in the columns (more noise and mess), but given that they were steel columns they wouldn't, they'd have to rig RDX (cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine) charges onto the weakend columns. RDX is a very high velocity explosive that can effectively 'cut' right through a steel column. There may also be a charge of dynamite rigged to the column to give it a push in the right direction.

Neccesary to any demolition explosion are the fuses and detonators: these require significant electricity to be set off, so there will be miles (almost literally in some cases) of wiring to deliver the voltage needed to set off the primer charges. Could all the explosive charges be set up with their own power supply, rigged to be triggered remotely and secretly? I suppose they could, but I doubt any demolition expert would risk it in an area that has a LOT of radio frequency traffic: Cell phones, taxi radios, transmission towers everywhere (like right on top of the WTC!) such as lower Manhattan. Too much potential for interference resulting in charges not firing at all, or worse, way too soon. So 'super secret spy technology' used to remotely trigger so many explosive charges seems unlikely at best. So it seems that miles and miles of fairly conspicuous wiring would have to be used.

Additionally, they often test blast a column to be sure they're not using too much or too LITTLE explosive. (But we'll skip that too... since we're buttuming everyone involved is pathologically ignoring safety, lacking compbuttion, conscience, professionalism, etc... oh, and can keep a SUPIR BIG MEGA SEKRIT...)

After the building is weakend and the charges rigged, the columns need to be wrapped, but we'll skip that too, 'cause we're buttuming that 'they' have foregone any safety measures, and are aiming for maximum carnage.

There is simply NO WAY for ALL of the above to be carried out clandestinely - especially in three separate buildings trafficked by thousands of people daily at all hours of the day. Addtionally, all this activity would require a crew of hundreds of people. Why has none of them come forward to say, "I worked on the WTC crew to deliberately bring down the two towers."? It's been 4 years, I'd think somebody's conscience would have broken by now, but maybe that's just me...

The coup de grace, as it were, is this: WTC Conspiracy fans base much of their claim on an observastion of video footage showing puffs of smoke bursting out of the windows of each floor of the two towers in the instant that the above floor is collapsing down on it, seemingly implying that any explosives rigged must have been fired in sequence from the top floors first and so on downward (first of all, this also has to imply that the jets hit EXACTLY at a floor that was predetermined so as to aviod any charges being seen firing on floors above the impact zone - I doubt it's possible to navigate a jetliner with this kind of pinpoint accuracy, they steer like cows - though I could be wrong about that. Secondly, WTC Consp'rs, why do you think the floors above collapsing on the ones below wouldn't raise AT LEAST a *little* dust? But I digress...). Exploding charges from the top of a building down is simply not how building demolition works. The first charges to be triggered are always ON THE GROUND FLOOR! The reason for this is simply - gravity. Remove the support at the bottom, and the building has nothing to stand on - it HAS to come down. You want to knock a person down, you simply kick their legs out from under them, you don't start by trimming their hair. If you say, "Well no one saw them." Then WHY? Why didn't anyone see these explosions? Millions were watching. Thousands of people were there, on the scene. I find it hard to believe that NO ONE saw it. But, as I keep saying, maybe that's just me...

In order for WTC Conspiracy fans to support their claims that the builings were deliberately demolished, they need to come up with a special argument for each and every aspect of building demolition to explain why that particular aspect was foregone. They've come up with very few of those, and the ones they have are specious reasoning, at best. Nevermind the special arguments to bypbutt other aspects of reality they'd have to come up with...
