it? Don't be too sure. I was sort of glad Georgie won this time, not because he deserved to, but in order to avoid a larger disaster. I mentioned the possibility of Bush losing in a "what if" scenario to a couple of people over drinks one time. I said: "What if Bush lost, and he says "I'm not going anywhere! We're at war, and I'm the best man to handle it. I hereby declare martial law, dissolve the Supreme Court, and suspend Congress, and the Consbreastution". I asked them what did they think would happen. Some said there would be a second American Revolution, but I disagree.. For the most part, Americans are sheep, as long as the bills are paid. 85% would say "As long as I can keep my Lexus and my timeshare, who gives a poo what that idiot does?" And the remaining 15% don't have the resources to do anything about it. So for the second time in 200+ years, America would have a King George. Thankfully, he did win, (even if it MIGHT have been fixed), so we'll never have to find out. That in no way implies he still couldn't do the same thing in 4 years, but I think the climate would be better to slap him down in '08, since he's already had his 2 terms.
