Sorry, "Sweettart", but with the American legal system, and all people deserve to represented in a court of law by "any" attorney(s) they hire or have appointed for them. Defencse attorneys usually don't even question their clients about whether or not they are guilty. It would make them less effectvie in their defense.

Then go back to the British system completely. Just because it was founded here by an Englishman, doesn't make it better than any other. In fact, most of higher education in the Western world is based on the German system. My terminal degree is in Higher Education Policy and Administration.

He proabaly would have liked him very much. You can't judge his career as an academic by what "you" find distasteful (although correct according to our legal system) in his activity as an active attorney.

Anyone who knows anything about civil courts knows that it only takes a "preponderence of evidence to indicate *probable*thus potential guilt. Like it or not, it varies much from the findings of "evidence beyond a doubt". These are two arms of the law, and don't really subsbreastue for one another. The civil case was to get money paid to the families of the victims. Blod money if you wish...
