The Consbreastution states that the only expenditure of money at the federal level is to go to the providing for the defense. Then, by way of the "regulation of interstate commerce" that effort was to be funded through fines. The federal government was never supposed to fund anything other than the military or other defense mechanism. As for funding education, it is appalling that we will spend close to $60,000.00 a year to keep a person in prison and only $7,000.00 a year in teaching them how to stay out of prison. On the local level our priorities are as screwed up as the homoloveuals thinking they should be granted license to marry. The top paying civil servant job (and I'm including teachers in that group although some would claim they should not be) should be the police and fire fighters that protect us. Second should be teachers. After that, take your pick. But we should be ashamed to ask a person to dedicate their lives to protecting us at the daily risk of their lives for a mere 30 or 40 thousand dollars a year. And we should be doubly ashamed to think that a person we charge with preparing our children for life in the real world is only worth a salary in the 25 thousand dollar range when the person answering the phone in the supers office is making 30. -- "To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. ... A wise and frugal government...shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. ... Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare but only those specifically enumerated. ... Would it not be better to simplify the system of taxation rather than to spread it over such a variety of subjects and pbutt through so many new hands?" --Thomas Jefferson Maverick Rhode Island 1933loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX loveXX Soggetto: SAITTA Saitta ti ho fregato HA...
