I was in great shape at this time. I proved it by outrunning the mad mama orangutan who likes to bite hiking tourists. I actually fell over a log running away because I was laughing so hard. My shoes flew off and my backpack went flying. The guide was cursing at me and telling me to RUN! I couldn't take him seriously for some reason and I knew that the mama orangutan was just having loads of fun scaring us. The two Danes by my side, nice guys had a hard time too as they suffered food poisoning from the night before. A bunch of troopers.

I'm a firm believer of inflatable mattresses after this trip!
